Terms of Service

Last updated August 23, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Multitool ("Multitool," "we," or "us"), including the website at usemultitool.com, the application at app.usemultitool.com, and every tool in the bundle (Hours, Links, Forms, Booking, Invoices, Uptime, Bio, Loyalty). By creating an account or otherwise using Multitool, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Who can use Multitool

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for everything that happens under your account, including actions taken by anyone you've invited to your workspace.

2. Your account and workspace

Multitool accounts sign in through Google, Apple, or an email link — we never see or store a password. Each account belongs to a workspace ("org") that you or your team's owner controls. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for who you invite into your workspace.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Every tool has a free plan with no card required, capped at a small usage allowance shown in the app and on each tool's page. Multitool is also offered either as individual tools billed à la carte or as the full bundle, billed monthly in advance through Stripe, which removes that tool's allowance entirely. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe and may change with notice; changes take effect at your next billing cycle. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and we don't provide refunds or credits for partial periods. Canceling drops your account back to the free allowance for creating anything new; it does not delete, hide, or disable anything you've already created. We don't store your card details ourselves; Stripe handles that.

4. Your content and your customers' data

You own the content you create in Multitool — your links, forms, bookings, invoices, loyalty programs, and everything else. Several tools also let you collect information about your own clients or customers (names, emails, phone numbers, form responses, and similar). You're responsible for that data: you represent that you have the right to collect it and to have Multitool process it on your behalf, and that doing so complies with the law that applies to your business.

5. Public pages

Some tools generate pages meant to be public by design — booking pages, invoice view links, forms, bio pages, loyalty cards, and short/review links. Anyone with the link can view (and where applicable, interact with) these pages without a Multitool account. You're responsible for what you publish through them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Multitool to:

  • Break the law, or facilitate anyone else breaking it
  • Send spam, or use public tools (Forms, Links, Booking, Bio) to collect data deceptively or without a legitimate purpose
  • Attempt to bypass subscription entitlements, rate limits, or access controls
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the service
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt Multitool's infrastructure

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice depending on severity.

7. Third-party services

Multitool relies on third parties to work: Stripe for payment processing, Google and Apple for sign-in, and Supabase and Vercel for hosting and infrastructure. Invoices' payment button links out to Venmo — Multitool never processes that payment itself, only tracks whether you've marked an invoice paid.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Multitool available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may modify, add, or remove features as the product evolves.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Multitool is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Multitool won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Multitool harmless from claims arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You can stop using Multitool and cancel your subscription anytime. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, non-payment, or extended inactivity, with notice where reasonably possible.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Multitool changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
